Abstract: Introduction: The concept of pharmaceutical regulatory science has been coined to provide scientific knowledge and intelligence for informed decision-making by regulatory, statutory and jurisdictional bodies. The effective management and optimisation of quality assurance (QA) signals are central to sustain organisational accountability and continuous improvement.
Aim: To develop a Quality Assurance Signal Optimisation Cycle (QASOC), supported by the Responsibility, Accountability, Consulted and Informed (RACI) tool, tailored for the operational context of pharmaceutical regulatory activities.
