Abstract: Traditionally, the philosophy of communication has been studied under the philosophy of language. Philosophers are now beginning to realize that communication is more than just language. Claude Mangion, in the present book, has attempted to investigate the extent to which communication has been able to resolve the problems that emerge in philosophical discourse. He attempts to accomplish this by examining the relationship between intersubjectivity, community and ethics of dialogue. [excerpt]
