| Abstract: | The National Malta Library holds the Archives of the Order of Saint John brought to the Island after the Order’s expulsion from Rhodes. The Archives have documents dating to the Crusader Period and extends up to then expulsion of the Order by Napoleon Bonaparte in 1798. Many of the Archives’ documents have been systematically catalogued, and these catalogues have been published, though not completely. |
