Abstract: The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) with robotic systems represents the latest paradigm shift in dental technology, building upon the foundational advancements of digital workflows and computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD-CAM). This combination of technologies has potential to automate clinical workflows, minimize human error, and enhance treatment outcomes. This chapter synthesizes current research on AI-driven robotic applications in dental surgery. Details on the specific robotic applications in oral implantology are illustrated with three original clinical case studies. Applications of robots on other specialties are also discussed. Finally, developmental considerations and challenges facing these emerging technologies are also addressed.
