Abstract: Drug-related problems (DRPs), defined by the Pharmaceutical Care Network Europe as “events or circumstances involving drug therapy that actually or potentially interfere with desired health outcomes”. They can arise from prescribing and dispensing errors, inappropriate medication use, and polypharmacy. As highly accessible healthcare providers, community pharmacists are well positioned to identify, assess, and prevent DRPs, improving patient pharmacotherapy.
Aims: ▫ To identify and quantify drug-related problems in community pharmacies
▫ To put forward strategies to minimise drug-related problems in community pharmacies
