| Abstract: | This article focuses on the religious community called Brothers De La Salle, better known as Frères. Fabian Mangion explains the evolution of the community during the 20th century. In 1916-17, the first scholarships at De La Salle College were launched. During more than a century, the Brothers left a significant impact on the education field in Malta. However, nowadays, there are only 13 Maltese Brothers left, due to the lack of vocations. |
