Abstract

Following the legitimate brouhaha raised over the disruptive filming activities conducted within the Dwejra Heritage Park by the ‘Game of Thrones’ retinue, MEPA rightly imposed a barrage of stringent conditions on the ‘By the Sea’ filming entourage at Mgarr ix-Xini to ensure that the film set was an entirely temporary affair and did not leave any ecological scars behind. So far, this is sounding like one of the very few occasions where we managed to learn from hindsight so as not to perpetuate the same blunders over and over again.
