| Abstract: | This feature article looks at the life and priesthood of Carmelite friar Avertan Fenech O.Carm. In the first few paragraphs, the writer navigates through fr Avertan’s childhood before moving onto his academic training in Philosophy and Theology. The next phase informs us of his preparation for priesthood and later, the details of his ordination and first Mass. The last few paragraphs provides great insight to fr Avertan’s many virtues which helped him live an exemplary life serving his faith and the community in which he lived in. Features some photographs. |
