| Abstract: | The incidence of colonic diverticula in Malta based on radiological findings for the 6 year period 1967-72 has been investigated. The series included 1346 patients investigated by barium enema, of which 673 were males and 673 were females. There were 249 cases with colonic diverticula, giving an incidence of 18.5%. This incidence is comparable to that of other countries of the Western world. |
