| Abstract: | This document is a joint analysis of the National Cancer Register and the National Mortality Register was carried out to determine how many of the Maltese residents diagnosed as having cancer in 1991 were still alive one year from the incidence date, i.e. the date when the diagnosis of cancer was made. Both the Cancer and the Mortality Registers are kept at the Health Information Systems Unit of the Department of Health. |
