| Abstract: | Some 43 coins were found in the course of the excavation as described above. Five others (nos. 35-40) were found during the clearance work of 1968, while a grano of the Knights datable post-1530, which was found in 1974 in the packing of the blocked north doorway/ has since been lost. Seven coins (nos. 42-48) were found in the Visitation church; none at all were discovered in the lower Annunciation church. |
