Abstract: A small marble tablet (15.5 × 16.5 cm; thickness: 2.3 cm) held at Malta’s National Archaeological Museum bears the following epitaph: enqade kite Dome- |stiko~ o eum[en]h~ (?) | cristiano~k(ai) ihtr~e | ezhsen eth o~V | aveπa<Ú>ato th [pr(o)] ihV | kal[an]d(wn) Febr(ouariwn) | . “Here lies Domestikos, a good Christian and doctor; he lived for 76 years and found eternal peace on the 18th day before the Kalends of February”.
