| Abstract: | In this article, Lander gives an account of the first hundred years of philately in Malta. He begins with describing the first stamp ever used i.e. the 1/2d buff. The author continues to describe issued stamps up until 1960 when a stamp commemorating the Pauline centenary was issues. The author concludes by contemplating the future of philately in Malta. |
