| Abstract: | The passing away of Malta's National Poet, the Rev. Mgr. K. Psaila, D.D., D.LITT. (Hon. Causa), C.B.E., almost on the eve of his ninetieth birthday, marks the departure of a man who, by his natural endowments as a poet and his unstinted and unselfish work in the promotion of the cause of the Maltese language, has carved for himself a lasting niche among the Immortals; and in the heart of every Maltese citizen he has left a burning torch for the love of our language and our country. |
