| Abstract: | My contribution to this meeting will perhaps be different from that of my predecessors. My paper results from an experience originating first of all from my having had the opportunity of spending some time among families whose initiatives centred around the family itself. In this community the family has tried to be the protagonist in playing its own role in Italian society where the attack on the cultural, social and religious presence of the family in the last forty years has been very strong, and has suffered some moments of serious defeats when Italian families found themselves in a minority over the issues of divorce and abortion. |
