| Abstract: | Noble Bishop who renounced his title to become "the priest of the poor". Born on 26 October 1779, he was the son of Count F.S. Sant and Baroness Clara Bonici. Following his early schooling in Malta he was admitted into the Collegia Imperiale of Monza where after receiving his secondary education he entered the Seminary. |
