| Abstract: | In recent years, the subject of human remains has also occupied the attention of an artist, Vince Briffa, who has since produced an exploratory series of works entitled 'Relics'.Vince Briffa's thought-provoking series breaks through conventional disciplinary barriers, thereby challenging the viewer to arrive at a new point of view on art itself. By analogy, can the archaeologist benefit thus by borrowing methods from other fields, namely that of art practice? |
