| Abstract: | It is my pleasure and privilege to welcome you all to this one day Seminar on Bioethics organised by the Ministry of Social Policy. The topic for discussion today is the need or otherwise of having a Health Ethics Council. In the discussions that we have had in the last 2 days, it was obvious that there are a number of ethical issues facing the medical profession and society in Malta in which the answers are still a matter of controversy. |
