| Abstract: | Ġuże Diacono was born in Valletta on 24th November 1912 to Francis Xavier and Victoria, nee Meli. He studied at Stella Maris College in Sliema run by the De La Salle Brothers. He later attended St. Paul's College, in Valletta and went on to graduate from the University of Malta, as Legal Procurator in 1938. However instead of pursuing a legal profession after graduation, he decided to go into journalism. |
