| Abstract: | It was my first and only trip to Spain. I was a mere seventh grader, (in the seventh year or primary school in New York at age twelve) anxious to absorb every possible sight. One day, my parents and I entered an art museum in a city that appeared to have an atmosphere of medieval times, yet in most respects was quite modern, Madrid. The beautiful boulevard of Prado seemed to radiate from a central square. As I entered the museum, it seemed as if I was surrounded by a series of magnificent paintings. |
