| Abstract: | The study encompasses two main aims: those of finding how to create an effective live audiovisual (AV) performance through software as well as the identification of the elements that create immersion in order to achieve an effective AV performance. The study tries to answer both of these questions through theoretical research and practical research. The final outcome of the research is a software-based AV synthesiser which was built in TouchDesigner and a live AV performance which aim at representing the results obtained through the prototype testing stage and studies on the subject of perception, immersion, AV performance, and generative art in relation to music. |
