Abstract: | This thesis deals with the main human senses; sight, smell, hearing, taste, and touch. My research question involves how best to represent my understanding of the functionality of the individual senses along with their collaboration. First researching how each sense functions, how they affect each other, and how their collaboration is essential. Once comprehending their capabilities and also recognising the structure with respect to their individual sense organs, proceeding to represent them in an artistic and aesthetic manner. As an artist with experience in both traditional and digital art, I decided to combine my insight into the previously mentioned artistic expressions in creating my project. This was finished by utilizing the digital media to investigate the subject of the human senses and my idea with respect to it, while utilising the traditional art media for creating the physical final piece. |
