| Abstract: | The eleventh edition of the Maltex Philatelic Exhibition has come and gone and is now history. The number of visitors to the Exhibition was one of the best ever and according to general consensus it was a success. It would be unethical to add any further comments by one who was involved both in the organisation and as an exhibitor. The Exhibition was held at the 'Green Lounge' of the Hotel Phoenicia from 8th to 10th October. It was inaugurated on Thursday 7th October by the Chairman of the Malta Study Circle (U.K.) Dr. Rodger Evans B.Sc., Ph .D., Hon. F.A.P.S., and blessed by the Rev . Anthony Galea S .J. who has been a member of the Malta Philatelic Society since 1977. [excerpt] |
