Abstract: Risks associated with pharmaceutical processes are assessed, controlled, communicated and reviewed by the use of Quality Risk Management. The Quality Risk Management is a structured process to evaluate risks and the cause and effect of risks on quality. The publication of the International Conference of Harmonization (ICH) Q9 ‘Quality Risk Management’ in 2005 had a large impact on the pharmaceutical industry.
