Abstract: As competition and demand in manufacturing increases, faster and more efficient production lines are an increasing necessity. Across all manufacturing industries, quality assurance plays a vital role in assuring the high quality of the produced goods. Traditionally quality inspection is performed by human inspectors who either inspect each and every product individually or inspect samples from the whole batch to access a batch quality.
