Communicating change : a study of diffusion of innovation and its application within management systems unit Ltd

Abstract

Over the past five years much has been said about the need for change and reform in Malta. Very little is said about how change is communicated and it effects. This has been the underlying motive behind this work, understanding the theory and history of Diffusion of Innovation. The study proceeds to apply the theoretical findings to a chosen case, Management Systems Unit Ltd. and researches its role as an change agency. The conclusions find, that MSU successfully fulfills the role of a change agency established through the literature reviewed. The sources used to reach this conclusion include personal observation over a period of three months, interviews and surveys.
