Abstract: The main aim of this dissertation is to give a veritable account on the ins and outs of film-making, and an engaging examination of my work. The text is written to be straightforward, opinionated, unpretentious and above all in love with movies. Whatever the production, each has to go through the same basic steps of creating a film. Movies are very powerful. You have to have great respect for the medium. It is not something to take lightly. Film is not a mechanical sandwich composed of a script, sets, actors, camera and editing. It is a magical fusion of light, movement and sound. If you want an audience you need to have something really good to say and you have to say this well. How does one create an artistic film? This I do not know. What I will write about is how I worked. After all I know what went through all the decisions that resulted in the finished work.
