| Abstract: | The circular Postage Due handstamp for Seven Pence (PD-72) is known to have been sent from London in 1896. Until recently, it was believed that it had never been used. Here illustrated is a cover from Naples, Italy, which reached Malta on July 17, 1909. Only one other such cover, showing the elusive 7d. Postage Due, is known to be in existence. [excerpt] |
