Abstract: This study assessed the various trends and effects of alcohol on the behavior of young adults between 18 years and 20 years. The research questions are mainly three: Alcohol has an effect on the body. Are young adults aware of any effects that alcohol has on the body and behavior? Are young adults cautious and open-minded about the effects of alcohol on the body? These are important so as to understand the awareness of the effects of alcohol abuse, the effects which alcohol has on the body and behavior. Quantitative data was collected by using questionnaires. The results showed that there is a majority of young adults who are aware of the effects of alcohol but still drink this toxic substance. This study may be useful to make young adults more cautious about alcohol and its effects on the body and behavior.
