Abstract: When a mother looses her baby, her life changes completely and she has to deal with grief. The mother will seek help, so she will go for therapy. The mother's feelings and experiences will automatically effect the psychologist's beliefs, personal life and viewpoints. In order to study the psychologist's perspective, a qualitative approach was used in order to enter their world. The sample consisted of four psychologists, all four of them mothers. Interpretive Phenomenological Analyses (IPA) was used to analyse the data obtained through semi-structured interviews. From the results, one could deduce that the psychologists feel very connected with the women during therapy. Dealing with miscarriage is not an easy task and this can affect the psychologists too both in during therapy and in their personal life. I believe that it is of a beneficial to know what are the emotions and feelings that a psychologist has to face and how she deals with it.
