Abstract: This study will integrate existing literate on the needs of adolescents in care and ten interviews with adolescent boys aged 13-15 who are currently living in care at a residential home. The aim is to bring out the specific and concrete needs of adolescents in care. These needs will then be evaluated in relation to Maslow's theory of need and motivation.
