Abstract: This study investigates what the reasons behind the aggressive behaviour of adolescents boys are. Aggressive behaviour is further studied in relation with parents relationships, friends, mass media and other social 'accepted' or 'unaccepted' behaviours. The aim is for a better understanding of what might adolescents encounter through this period in relations with aggressiveness and delinquency. The research approached consisted of a survey, with questionnaires distributed to three different Area Boys' Secondary schools by the researcher herself. The sample consisted of 143 students attending forms 3, 4 and 5 respectively, which make up to 25.35% of the population of these forms in the chosen schools, during the scholastic year 2007-2008. There were few students who admitted that they bullied at least once in their life, however there was a higher percentage rated of those students who claimed that they were victimised once or more in their life. Moreover it was found that bullying is a variable which is dependent on age, thus as students grow older they tend to be less victimised. It was also found that aggressiveness depends also from the amount of time the students spend with their peers and watching television. In fact, there is a high relationship with these two variables if the relationship with their family tend to be weak. In view of these findings, especially with regard to bullying which is one of the most forms of aggressive behaviour displaced in schools, suggestions are made so that the system could be improved.
