Żejtun : a social and economic study

Abstract

Żejtun A social and Economic Study, examines, as the title indicates, the social and economic development of Zejtun. The main events which took in Maita either positively or negatively, in the development of this village, which is situated in the Southern region of the Maltese Islands. My thesis deals with various aspects present in throughout the Maltese islands, such as, the effects of mortal diseases, wars, education, employment and the standard of living.
