Abstract: Key Messages
Allowing for normal fluctuations, a positive anomaly in the average temperature started since the early 90’s.
From 1991 onwards, the anomaly in the highest temperature during the past 17 years reaches a minimum in 2005 but which again increases during the following 3 years.
Statistical testing shows that here is no significant decrease in precipitation when compared to the climate norm.
The 2008 monthly average UV values against those observed during 2002-2007 show slightly higher values between April and September. A slight increase is also evident during November 2008.
