Abstract

The book is intended to throw more light on the geographical and natural history of Comino, Filfla and St Paul's Island aiming also at exciting the interest of locals and tourists alike who can henceforth further their knowledge by visiting these places. For those who have visited them already, this book may help to enrich their knowledge by throwing more light on these islands' history. The authors wish to bring to the attention of the authorities the importance of conservation of these localities. St Paul's Island could be flood-lit thus making it a center of attraction in a locality which is so popular with locals and tourists alike. The statue of St Paul on the island needs urgent restoration and Din l-Art Ħelwa gets our whole hearted support in her effort to bring this about. Appeal is made to all to keep these places clean and the sea around free of pollution.
