Abstract: A Microprocessor Development System (MDS) is a computer system specifically designed to use various devices or peripherals to aid application development. With this in mind this project aims at providing an MC68000 based MDS which may be used both as a stand alone educational unit in order to demonstrate the features of the 68000 and to aid learning programming in 68000 machine code or as a control unit for other systems where the speed und versatility of the 68000 might provide a significant advantage.
