Abstract: This work on time division multiplexing first of all introduces the need of such a system due to economical considerations. The mathematics is then developed in a somewhat simplified form to show that the proposed system is in fact mathematically possible. Furthermore the restrictions imposed by the real system are taken in consideration as to how they limit the actual implementation of such a system. Then a practical system, although in a somewhat simplified form is discussed. It was not intended to indulge into complex electronic circuits but rather pursue simple ideas. This approach was taken first of all due to the short time available and also to show that such systems do not need a large component count for their implementation if we are to trade off certain parameters. I think that. in this respect this work has reached its aim.
