| Abstract: | This perspective on teaching and learning is on motivating every learner towards a deep approach to learning and thinking in the subject. In seeking to understand in this way learning in business education, the notions of pedagogical content knowledge (PCK), knowledge bases for teaching, powerful knowledge (PK), threshold concepts and troublesome knowledge provide a useful framework. I am focusing on the notion of ‘powerful knowledge’. |
