| Abstract: | This study investigates the effects of bullying on school children. The author supplements a literature review with some primary research, mainly by conducting interviews amongst victims from state secondary schools. Interviews were also carried out with the victims' parents. Heads of school, guidance teachers, a social worker and a psychologist were also interviewed. After comparing the literature review with the results, the author comes up with recommendations for better ways to help the victim. |
