Abstract: Besides the similar problems that heterosexual couples have to face, homosexual couples have to endure several other problems, just because they are two of the same gender. This work is a study of the problems, three young male homosexual couples have to deal with in their everyday life. This was done by conducting interviews with these young gay men, and specifically discussing with them what problems they have to cope with when dealing with family, work, friends, church and civil rights. Finally, an analysis of the outcomes of the interviews was carried out. It resulted that these couples are more often than not very open about their sexuality and status depending on which situation they find themselves in, be it within the family, at work, with friends, and regarding religion and civil rights.
