MUP Publication wins National Book Prize in the Research Category

As was previously announced on Newspoint, three of the books published by the Malta University Press (MUP) were shortlisted for National Book Prize.

In an update to that great news, and following an award-giving ceremony that was held on 27 September, MUP are pleased to announce that Prof. Mary Darmanin’s “So We Can Do Our Best: Care in children’s relationships with teachers”, one of the shortlisted books, is the winner of the Research Category 2025.

This research publication was conducted by Prof. Darmanin under the auspices of The Malta Foundation for the Wellbeing of Society and offers deep insights into the vital importance of student-teacher relationships.
