The President’s Foundation for the Wellbeing of Society is organising a botanical art exhibition and a discussion event on the value of environmental heritage and its importance for wellbeing.
The botanical art exhibits are the work of Her Excellency the Australian High Commissioner to Malta, Ms Jane Elspeth Lambert. The main centrepiece, painted specifically for this occasion, is an exhibit of the Tulipa Sylvestris Australis, an indigenous tulip that is very rare.
The event will also feature a discussion event with leading Maltese experts. The discussion will focus on how we value the environmental heritage in Malta and what more can we do to further this important aspect of wellbeing.
The opening of the botanical art exhibition and the discussion event will be held on 24 October at 18:30. Reservations can be placed by calling the President’s Foundation for the Wellbeing of Society on 21 484 662 or via email lorella.gatt@gov.mt.
Her Excellency the President of Malta will open the event.
This event is being organised with the support of the Australian High Commission in Malta and with the support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Malta.
The exhibition is open until 30 October.
