You are invited to a Central Bank of Malta webinar during which Professor Mauro Laudicella will deliver a presentation entitled: Age, morbidity, or something else? A residual approach using microdata to measure the impact of technological progress on health care expenditure.
This is a public webinar and is free of charge.
Professor Laudicella is a Professor in Health Economics at DaCHE – the Danish Centre for Health Economics, at the University of Southern Denmark. He is also an Honorary Research Fellow at the Business School of Imperial College London. He was previously employed at City University of London, Imperial College London and University of York. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of York (2010) and a MSc in Economics from the University College London (2006).
Professor Laudicella will be presenting a study which measured the increment of health care expenditure (HCE) that can be attributed to technological progress and change in medical practice by using a residual approach and microdata. Read more here.
