Event: The Future of Marketing: From Information to Action in the Age of GenAI

The Department of Marketing at the University of Malta, in collaboration with the Malta Digital Innovation Authority (MDIA), is hosting a research seminar exploring how marketing is evolving in the age of generative AI. The event will bring together academics, students and industry professionals for a morning of thought-provoking presentations and discussions.
A keynote address will be delivered by Prof. Deniz Lefkeli from Luiss University in Rome, titled “Information Exchange in the Digital Age.” The programme will also include presentations by department staff and selected MSc alumni, showcasing recent research and dissertation work.
A highlight of the seminar is the panel discussion “The Road Ahead: Industry Perspectives on the Future of Marketing,” featuring: Ms Alison Mercieca (Senior Manager, Marketing at GO), Mr Jack Mizzi (CMO at BMIT), Ms Amanda Holmes (Senior Manager, Brand and Communications at Melita) and Mr Christian Teuma (Digital Media and Ad Tech Manager at Multiple Group). The session will be moderated by Mr Gavril Flores, Chief Strategy Officer at MDIA.
Attendance is free of charge, but registration is required due to limited seating. Refreshments will be provided.
