TOUCH-FLIGHT 2 was funded by the Malta Council for Science Technology (MCST) through the National R&I Programme (Grant Agreement R&I-2015-015-V). This project built on the results of a previous project (TOUCH-FLIGHT) and developed a multimodal interface that allows airline pilots to interact with avionic systems using a combination of touchscreen gestures and voice commands. The project was led by the Institute of Aerospace Technologies in collaboration with QuAero Ltd.
