The Faculty for Social Wellbeing in collaboration with Wikimedia Community Malta and US Embassy Malta
will be hosting a public lecture entitled 'Publishing Women's Stories'. The speaker is Dr Tracy Prince.
The event will be held on Wednesday 5 March between 14:00 and 16:00 in VC101, IT Services Building
'Publishing Women’s Stories' will focus on publishing with both academic and trade publishers for books, journals, and encyclopedic entries, then amplifying those publications on academic versions of social media. It will also give some insight as to how academics can apply for the Fulbright Scholar Programme in the United States.

Historian, Dr Tracy J. Prince is a Research Professor at Portland State University's American Indian Teacher Program. She has taught in Turkey, Canada, and the United States, with extensive research time in England, Australia, South Africa, and France. She is the author of four books--Culture Wars in British Literature: Multiculturalism and National Identity, Notable Women of Portland, two history books on the American West--and numerous articles in academic journals, chapters in academic books, and newspaper articles on history and politics.
