Organised by the Department of Art and Art History (Faculty of Arts) in collaboration with the Centre for Labour Studies and the Department of Gender Studies (Faculty for Social Wellbeing) and Heritage Malta
The Department of Art and Art History (Faculty of Arts) in collaboration with the Centre for Labour Studies and the Department of Gender Studies (Faculty for Social Wellbeing) and Heritage Malta, is organising the second edition of a symposium that highlights women as represented in the various research projects and dissertations presented to the above-mentioned Departments and Centre at the University of Malta.
The aim of the symposium is not only to highlight such research, but to also generate a discussion thereby encouraging other students to take on similar female-related research topics. There will be nine presentations, short film screenings, as well as Pia Zammit reading an excerpt from ‘The Vagina Monologues’. The programme is available online.
The event is free of charge and a reception will follow.
