The annual Biology Symposium is being held on Saturday 5 December 2020, starting at 09:00. Download the programme.
It is being organised by the Department of Biology and sponsored by the Environment and Resources Authority.
The format and delivery have been modified to ensure COVID-19 compliance.
The first two sessions will consist of short presentations (no longer than 10 minutes each) by BSc undergraduates, postgraduates (MSc and PhD) and RSOs.
This will be followed by a new section consisting of testimonials by alumni. The objective is to provide present and prospective students with information about the possible career paths taken by our graduates.
The Symposium will consist of an Opening Session, by Prof. Emmanuel Sinagra and Dr Sandro Lanfranco, a Session featuring Undergraduate research, followed by one on Postgraduate Research and a final session on Alumni Testimonials & Job Opportunities.
A pictorial gallery of the posters presented by the 2020 final-year students will be on display.
