In today’s busy world, there is an increasing desire to take time out, to find some stillness or what you could call mind space.
The Health and Wellness Centre is inviting members of the University of Malta to join in weekly online drop-in mindfulness session of guided meditation every Wednesday at 17:00.
These sessions are suitable for anyone who:
- Wishes to explore and learn what mindfulness and meditation practices are
- Already has a sustained mindfulness practice and is looking into ways of further supporting and enriching their meditation practice
- Would like to know more about how they can incorporate informal mindfulness practices in their daily lives and how these may be of help in situations encountered throughout the day
- May find it difficult to sustain a regular home practice
- Is looking into joining a regular meditation group to connect and practice with like-minded individuals which can offer a sense of community, and in turn, this might help further motivation towards maintaining daily mindfulness practice
