Date: 13 January 2021
Time: 18:00 - 20:00
Venue: Remote; register online.
Speaker: Mr Peter Perotti
The talk will centre on the reasons why people take up sports or follow an exercise regime and the sacrifice needed to keep up a regular training programme and to better oneself in a sports discipline. This not only helps us to enjoy a better lifestyle but also prepares us to handle certain situations in life and also at the workplace. Hard training and a commitment towards a sports activity also teach us to persevere in difficult situations.
Best suited to individuals who are engaged in sports either by way of active participation or through sports administration. It could be useful to persons who have an ‘on and off’ relationship with exercise and need some encouragement to follow a regular exercise regime. Sport students, coaches, trainers and all those working in sports development could benefit.
Event will be held virtually. Those interested are encouraged to register online.
